New Videos: Music in the Making

Silk Road Ensemble musicians Cristina Pato (gaita, piano), Wu Man (pipa) and Ljova have created new pieces inspired by rivers, real and metaphorical.

The Ensemble gave previews of these works in progress at our recent residency at Harvard University, where we are collaborating with faculty from many schools and departments to explore this rich multidisciplinary topic. We hope you enjoy the videos (courtesy of our sound engineer Jody Elff) of these first performances of new music.
