Silk Road Ensemble member Sandeep Das (above) demonstrates the tabla to a group of schoolchildren at the Art Institute of Chicago. The Silk Road Project is committed to providing educational opportunities for audiences of all ages.

Staff

A small, industrious staff at a central office in Providence, Rhode Island, runs the Silk Road Project. Many artists, scholars, researchers, producers and curators collaborate with and contribute their talents to the Project, resulting in a network of people connecting through their shared commitment to creativity and learning.
