Muscat, Oman – Workshops and Concert
January 19-23, 2014

Over five days leading up to a concert, our musicians had the opportunity to work with the Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra (ROSO).

The Silk Road Ensemble with Yo-Yo Ma launched our anniversary year with concerts at Wheaton College and in Carnegie Hall.

United States – Spring Tour

The Silk Road Ensemble with Yo-Yo Ma held a residency at Harvard and performed in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee.

Three straight weeks on the road for the Silk Road Ensemble included eight concerts in seven states and many residencies and workshops.

Massachusetts, U.S. – Tanglewood Concerts & Filming

Silk Road Ensemble musicians converged at Tanglewood, where two concerts were filmed for international broadcast and DVD release.

At the New York Hall of Science in Queens, 150 sixth-grade students from the Silk Road Connect program at Edward Bleeker JHS 185 took the stage with members of the Silk Road Ensemble.

Hong Kong, China, South Korea – Asia Concert Tour
March 3-12, 2012

The Silk Road Ensemble with Yo-Yo Ma traveled to Asia for concerts in Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Xi'an, Beijing and Seoul.
