Passport to adventure

Image: Silk Road PassportMore than just travel guides, Silk Road Chicago Express Passports invite children ages 6 to 12 to experience the art and culture of the Silk Road at Chicago cultural institutions. Voyagers receive stamps for completing activities at the Chicago Children’s Museum, Art Institute of Chicago, Adler Planetarium, Field Museum, and Chicago Symphony Orchestra. The new Passports, featuring activities, explorations, and a travel story by Grammy-nominated performer Bill Harley, are available free through the Chicago Public Library and at participating institutions. Participants returning postcards from their journey are eligible to win tickets to an April Silk Road Ensemble family concert in Chicago.
