Motivated by a goal of igniting a passion for learning and teaching through the arts, the Silk Road Project is affiliated with both Harvard University and Rhode Island School of Design, where the Silk Road Ensemble collaborates with students and faculty as artists in residence.
Both five-year affiliations began in 2005 as a way to strengthen the interdisciplinary educational offerings of all three institutions. For more information, read the press release.
