The Project has commissioned pieces from 20 composers who have demonstrated the skills, knowledge and potential to create new chamber works reflecting the theme of cross-cultural exchange. This piece, along with 16 other commissions, was reviewed at a workshop at the Tanglewood Music Center in July 2000.
