Composer and kamancheh (Persian spike fiddle) virtuoso Kayhan Kalhor, ney (Persian flute) virtuoso Siamak Jahangiry, santur (Persian hammer dulcimer) virtuoso Siamak Aghaei, tabla (Indian percussion) virtuoso Shane Shanahan and other members of the Silk Road Ensemble perform "Blue as the Turquoise Night of Neyshabur," a composition by Kalhor, at the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

The tradition of decorative painting is widespread in Pakistan where it extends from cattle and camels to trucks and buses. Painted trucks are the primary mode of transportation over the Karakorum Highway into western China.
